June Cottage

Good Morning ! I F-I-N-A-L-L-Y finished the June cottage from Country Cottage Needleworks..At least there are still a fewdays left in the month to display it !
I didn't use the green floss for the door or the windows. Love the little strawberries !
It sits on the sidetable in the family room with The June wordplay  ..

I used a magnet and a piece of sheet metal again to attatch to the burlap lined frame ..The frame was a mirror I got at the good will and added the burlap to.

There has been alot of gardeneing going on around here.. I added these 3 Annabelle hydrangeas to my front planting bed ..I can't wait until they get huge and full of flowers ! I also dug out alot of the hostas in the front and changed some things around. I will show you all that when the plants recover from being moved. I also had my boys help me dig out another planting bed in the front all along the fence. I planted more hydrangeas there .( I am obsessed )  2 Incrediballs and a hydrangea tree ! I will also show you that once I get it mulched and things are blooming.
My daughter and I went to the flea market last Sunday and I got these cute vintage ducks.. $5.00 for the pair.. So they are on the porch with some of the thrift store baskets we planted with flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by and your nice comments !Have a great weekend !

The June cottage is darling, Priscilla--you've been doing such a great job on both this series and the Wordplays. I love seeing them in your monthly display.

Our hydrangeas aren't doing well this year--think we've had too much rain. I, too, just love them so I hope they get better if we get some sunnier, dryer weather :)

Have a great weekend!

Hi Priscilla. I love your new June work. The strawberries are so cute!
I love hydrangeas, but I have never had much luck with them here. I don't have the right spot for them. But I keep trying. Yours will be fabulous! I can't wait to see it all in bloom. I saw that Chelsea's cucumbers are going wild! How is your veg garden doing?
Happy Weekend. Off to a wedding in San Diego, an hour and a half away today.

Beautiful finish! It looks great with your June Word Play! I started this one, but haven't gotten very far. Your yard looks beautiful too!
